Rectangle creates a four-sided shape by defining two opposite corners. You can place it with two taps or press and drag to preview the final size as you draw. It’s a reliable choice for outlining areas, structures, and clean rectangular regions.

Line

Use Line to draw a single straight segment or build a connected polyline, depending on the selected line mode. Tap to place points one at a time, or drag to preview the next segment before committing it. It works well for boundaries, paths, and other precise linear geometry.

Circle

Circle places a circular shape by setting a center point first and a radius point second. The second tap or drag determines the final size, giving you quick visual control while keeping the interaction precise. It’s useful for circular zones, markers, and layout elements.

Polygon

Polygon creates a regular polygon from a center point outward to a vertex. The app supports multiple side counts, so the same tool can produce anything from a triangle to a dodecagon. This makes it a good fit for symmetric shapes you want to place quickly and evenly.

Arc

Arc draws a curved segment rather than a full closed shape. It supports several construction styles, including a 3-point arc and center-based clockwise or counterclockwise input. Use it when the drawing needs curved geometry with more control than a freehand stroke.

Pen / Freeform

Pen captures a continuous press-and-drag gesture and turns it into a smoothed freeform shape. It’s the fastest option when you want to sketch directly on the canvas without stepping through geometric points. This is especially helpful for organic outlines and loose annotations.

Text

Text places an editable text object wherever you tap on the canvas. As soon as it is inserted, it is ready for typing and formatting, which keeps labeling fast and lightweight. It’s ideal for notes, titles, labels, and simple callouts.

Photo

Photo opens the image picker and imports a photo directly onto the canvas. Once placed, the image becomes part of the drawing and can be positioned and edited like other objects. It’s useful for reference images, visual documentation, and real-world context.

Text Marker

Text Marker inserts a reusable labeled marker from the text marker library. If your library already contains saved markers, you can choose one and place it immediately; if not, the app guides you through creating one first. This is best for repeatable symbols or coded markers you want to use consistently across drawings.

Photo Marker

Photo Marker places a marker-sized placeholder at a chosen point on the canvas. That marker can then carry an attached image, making it especially useful for inspections, site notes, and visual callouts tied to a precise location. It gives photos a more structured role than simply dropping an image onto the canvas.

Lasso

Lasso selects objects by letting you draw around them freely instead of tapping each one individually. An open lasso selects objects that intersect the path, while a closed lasso can also capture objects fully contained inside the loop. It’s one of the quickest ways to gather multiple objects for editing or repositioning.

Zoom to Fit

Zoom to Fit automatically adjusts the canvas so all current objects are visible on screen with padding around them. It’s a fast way to re-center the drawing after panning or zooming away from the main work area. Think of it as the quickest way to restore a full-document view.
